Weapon, Wand & Bow Trims
Trims aren't just for armour. Swords and axes, ancient wands and ancient bows each take a trim of their own. Each weapon type has its own tab in the /trims catalog. See Armour Trims & Sets for how the trim system works at large.
How weapon trims work
A weapon trim has passive stats that work on its own, plus a full-set ability that only unlocks while you also wear the matching four-piece armour set.
Weapon, wand and bow trims hide their stats until they're discovered. The first player to apply a given trim reveals its effect server-wide, and from then on everyone sees what it does in /trims. Both the trim item and the weapon it's applied to show a bonuses block.
Trim procs (Hephaestus ignite, Forgeheat, Galvanize and the armour set's Zeus's Wrath) only roll on your own swings and your wand or bow shots, never on splash hits or damage over time.
Skipstone: the wand trim
Skipstone is the trim for ancient wands, dropped by shades in Polis runs at area level 80 and up. A trimmed wand grants 10% increased wand damage and Leeches 0.25% of wand damage as Life, no armour required.
Wear the full Skipstone armour set alongside it and the trim's ability, Ricochet, unlocks: when your wand beam hits a wall, it gets a chance to bounce once to the nearest enemy you can see. PvE only. See Skipstone Wand Trim.
Olympian: the KOTH weapon trim
KOTH jackpots can drop the Olympian weapon trim alongside the armour one, and the weapon trim is much the rarer of the two. It Leeches 0.25% of damage as Life. With the full Olympian armour set its ability is Galvanize. See Olympian Weapon Trim.
Hephaestus: the forge-god's weapon trim
Hephaestus has a weapon trim of his own, dropped by the boss himself. With the full Hephaestus armour set its ability is Forgeheat. See Hephaestus Weapon Trim.
New Map IV weapon trims
Two new sword and axe trims arrived with Map IV. One drops from Erebus, the Unlit in the lower pit, the other from Uber Hephaestus. What they do is left for those who find them.
Skyfall: the bow trim
Skyfall is the only bow trim, a jackpot pull from the Skywars Champion Box. With the full Skyfall armour set its ability is Rain of Arrows. See Skyfall Bow Trim.
Leech in Map IV
Leech was cut on every source in Map IV:

Leech now counts all the damage you deal to bosses, ubers, Avatars and the big fissure creatures. Weapon trim leech no longer works on combat loggers.
Trims vs. cosmetic looks
Don't confuse a weapon trim with a weapon cosmetic:
