Ichor
Ichor is the currency of the Sacred Way. You spend it to raise uber Avatars and to wake the Warden of the Ash. It is a normal stackable item, so it sits in your bag like anything else.
Earning Ichor
All Ichor earned on the Sacred Way goes straight into your bag. Anything that doesn't fit drops at your feet.
- Fissure creature kills. Every kill counts toward Ichor, and the kills add up. Tougher creatures count for more, and kills further south count for more. See Fissures.
- The maw burst. Killing the champion at the end of a fissure bursts out a lump of Ichor for whoever landed the kill:

- The Warden of the Ash. Everyone who deals at least 10% of its health gets 150 Ichor. See Warden of the Ash.
- Store boxes. The Anvil of the Cyclopes and the Eye of Argus pay Ichor where they used to pay uber keys (100 to 200 when they hit), and the Eye of Argus Bundle pays 500.
- Other players. Ichor is an ordinary item and trades like one.
Creatures raised by an Avatar during its fight pay no Ichor. Nothing pays Ichor in the North Meadows.

Both take the Ichor from your bag, not from your vault. Withdraw it at the vault first if it's banked.
Carrying and banking
Ichor you carry south of the first neck is at risk:
- If you die there, it drops where you died. A player who killed you gets the first 5 seconds to pick it up.
- If you leave the Sacred Way from there any way except walking back to the meadow (a warp,
/spawn, logging out, switching servers), it drops where you stand.
Walking back into the North Meadows banks it in your vault automatically. The vault is the barrel on the north wall of the arrival pavilion. From there you can take out one offering (100) at a time or all that fits. Ichor you hold inside the meadow is safe.
