Efficiency is a Simple enchant that goes on a pickaxe, up to level 5. It is tagged Mining.
What it does
8% increased mining speed per level (40% at L5). The Exceptional level, Efficiency VI, gives 75%.

Notes
- In Map 4 every pickaxe mines faster before any enchant, so Efficiency shows a smaller number than it used to. Break times with Efficiency V or higher are the same as before.
- Mining speed tops out at one tick per block.
/buffsshows at speed cap when you reach it. - It adds into the same increased mining speed pool as Momentum, Hermes' Pace, trims and prestige bonuses.
- Level 6 is an Exceptional level and is the gate on the Calcite upgrade Prismatic Efficiency.
- The Excavation Brush has its own brush-only Efficiency (up to V, 20% faster brushing per level). It is a separate enchant and never goes on a pickaxe.
