Starlens
Starlens is a Proc Manipulation path perk for pickaxe prestige. Mining a meteorite can open a lens in the sky that burns a beam through the farthest meteorite in reach.
At a glance
| Path | Proc Manipulation |
| Roll | 15 to 26 ore per beam |
| Slots | Any perk slot (P1, P5, P10) |
| Base chance | 1.4% per swing on a meteorite, raised by increased proc chance |
| Reach | The farthest landed meteorite within 90 blocks |
How it works
Each swing at a landed meteorite has a chance to open the lens. A ring of light opens above your rock and a beam fires into the farthest other meteorite within 90 blocks, never the nearest. That rock gives up your rolled amount of ore, paid to you at its own tier.
If there is no other meteorite in reach, or the one it picked has nothing left to give, the lens turns over and fires into the rock under your pickaxe for the same amount.
The chance runs through the same increased proc pool as your mining enchants, so Global Proc Chance, Amplified Odds, trims and jewels all raise it. There is no cooldown.
Notes
- Starlens can never take a meteorite's last ore. The finish always belongs to whoever mines it.
- Ore it takes counts toward the Meteorite Hunter daily limit.
- The far rock pays even when it sits in a chunk nobody is near.
